The owner and founder of Honest Answering, LLC, John Vaughn, has over 25 years of experience in the specialty telephone answering service (TAS) industry.
He took his first job in the 1980s at an answering service as a graveyard operator while still a student at the University of Houston. When he started, the service he worked for had only just retired their 1960s era plug-in switchboard, which was still sitting in the office! He was promoted to supervisor, then to manager, then took on various tasks in the TAS industry including software development, consulting, and marketing.
Honest Answering is the culmination of all this experience. The many, many lessons of what to do (and not to do) in order to run a world-class answering service have been applied to the practices here.
